IstiZada Arab Student Lead Generation
Background
Laureate International Universities approached IstiZada for our expertise in marketing to Arabs online. They saw that hundreds of thousands of Arab students were traveling abroad to study and they were looking to attract more of these Arab students to their schools.
Goals
To attract Arab leads at a cost per lead under $100 a lead for one of their Universities – New School of Architecture and Design. The aim was to attract about 30 -50 Architecture leads a month within their budget.
Strategy
IstiZada used Facebook ads with advanced demographic targeting and targeted Pay Per Click ads on Google to get ads in front of Arabs students. We segmented demographic groups and then developed different tailored ads for each group with different messaging. Campaigns could be seen in the GCC in both Arabic and English. We also developed Arabic/English landing pages to capture the leads.
Result
Due to well-designed ads, great targeting, and tailored Arabic landing pages IstiZada was able to drive more leads to the university than any of their other lead sources, domestic and abroad. The campaign brought in Arab student leads at a cost per lead ranging from $5 – $40 per lead, a fraction of their initial target cost per lead. The influx of leads was so unexpected and so much higher than their original targets that university didn’t have enough support staff to deal with all the follow up for the leads.
